NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

It is a National Youth Organization constituted to promote a sense of service towards society. It is optional for students.

AIM OF N.S.S

The aim of the N.S.S. is to promote national consciousness and a sense of social responsibility and to inculcate discipline and a sense of the dignity of labor among students. Its motto is ‘not me but you’.  The college has three N.S.S. units headed by three officers- two for Undergraduate students and one for Higher Secondary students. Each unit consists of fifty students. The units undertake various programs such as normal work, one-day camp, and special camps during Puja holidays and summer vacation.  A particular village/slum is adopted for developmental activities. N.S.S. day is observed every year on 24^th September.
